Bio: Djeliba Baba the Storyteller has presented in literally thousands of venues on four continents. He is a practitioner of the ancient West African Bardic craft of Jaliyaa and has been recognized by the California State Assembly for his work with troubled teens. Baba is also a recipient of the Distinguished Arts Award, Artist of the Year for the City of Long Beach California and has received commendations for his artistry from both the US Senate and US Congress.
