Simon
Simon came into my life 9 years and 2 months ago. I had my left knee replaced and he never left my side. After numerous surgeries Simon never left my side. Simon was a one person cat and I was blessed to be the one he loved. He never liked anyone else.
My heart is broken beyond repair since he was put to sleep yesterday. He suffered from aedno-carcinoma. He could no longer eat without bleeding from his mouth, and he quit drinking water awhile back. May his heart be blessed. I don’t want another kitten, there is no replacing the love of my life. He slept on my husbands pillow under the covers. Since my husband and I both snore, we have separate rooms.
I miss Simon so much. He actually played fetch with those antenna jack balls. So it was only the right thing to do by burying him with all his jack balls. Simon was pure black and a joy to me. My heart is broken and all the prayer in the world doesn’t seem to help at this time. I want Simon back, well of course. I know he’s not suffering now and is better off. But, what about us survivors of pets who have passed away. We are not better off, we are hurting beyond belief. If you can find it in your hearts say a prayer to give me support through this awful time.
Thank you for your time – if you took the time to read this. And if you have lost a loved one, bless your heart and may you find peace.
