Bio: Dale Gilbert Jarvis is a researcher, writer, and storyteller living and working inSt. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Dale regularly teaches workshops for beginning storytellers, and has taught workshops across Canada on storytelling for historic sites, museum, and park interpreters. Dale is the founder of the St. John’s Storytelling Circle and one of the coordinators of the annual St. John’s Storytelling Festival. He is in great demand for storytelling festivals across Canada, and has been featured at local and international festivals in Cape Breton, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, St. Mary's, Regina and Whitehorse, and has told tales in Wisconsin, Beijing and Oslo! .
